The company was established in 1977 as a cured and processed meat products plant situated in Piekary Slaskie, 20km northwest of Katowice. Ryszard Paruzel, with extensive professional experience within this industry, was then a co-owner of the company.

In 1986 production was reallocated to Katowice and from the beginning of 1990 the firm began it’s operations under the sole ownership of Ryszard Paruzel, as a manufacturing and trading company named „Rzeznictwo i Wedliniarstwo" with all operations situated in Katowice. During 1991 the firm went under a process of modernisation and expansion, which has brought with it clear and noticeable benefits to improved levels of efficiency, by increasing production capacity from a mere seven tons per month to one hundred tons per month. This process has also introduced modern and ecologically aware production lines and practices, which guarantee a top quality level of manufactured food, whilst simultaneously preserving traditional recipes and flavour.

During the expansion of the company’s operations, it has developed a very strong and prestigious regional brand-name that is synonymous with top quality and value. The company has created its own distribution outlets via a large network of retail shops located in Katowice and Piekary Slaskie, which currently share 80% of all total annual sales generated by the plant.

In April 2001 a newly built carcass separating plant started operations in Dobieszowice. It functions as the company’s branch, which is equipped with the most up-to-date and modern process lines. This allows for a capacity to separate and process 20 tons of meat during one shift. The plant fully adheres to all EU requirements and in 2003 was granted export rights to the all EU markets.

In 2004 a new processed meat division was added in the Dobieszowice branch with all products currently being produced to strict EU standards, both in food safety and superior gastronomic qualities. This division has also been granted export rights for it’s products to the EU, which is testament to the company’s strong commitment to setting high standards of excellence in its industry and markets by always meeting and exceeding set EU requirements.

Since 2001, the company has introduced HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) systems and has been approved by the District Veterinary Doctor Surgeon. The company has also committed itself to applying ‘Quality Management Systems’ in accordance to ISO 9001:2000, whereby it has implemented the systematic training of the firm’s personnel inline with system guidelines, as well as compiling and auditing documentary records to its effect.
